About the event

BTME (BIGGA Turf Management Exhibition) is Europe’s premier exhibition for golf greenkeepers and amenity turf professionals. With a rich 35-year history, it offers an  mix of exhibition, education, conferences, and networking opportunities, featuring over 200 exhibitors. The event provides industry members with tools to overcome challenges posed by new rules, technology, and climate change.

BTME 2024 will be held at the Harrogate Convention Centre, Harrogate, UK from 21st to 25th January 2024, with the main exhibition taking place from 23rd to 25th January 2024. The venue is a long-standing host

About BIGGA

The British and International Golf Greenkeepers Association Limited (BIGGA) was officially formed on 1st January 1987 as a result of the amalgamation of three existing associations; the British Golf Greenkeepers Association, the English and International Greenkeepers Association, and the Scottish and International Greenkeepers Association [3][5].

BIGGA is dedicated to promoting best practice in sports turf management and is devoted to the continuing professional development of its members. It strives for excellence in golf course management throughout the greenkeeping profession via education and training [5]. The Association has grown from its initial 1,200 members to over 6,000 members spanning more than 31 countries [3].

Members of BIGGA enjoy various benefits, which include being part of Europe’s largest greenkeeping membership association, having access to the latest news and products in golf course management via the official magazine of BIGGA, "Greenkeeper International", and getting the opportunity to be part of a community that is passionate about greenkeeping [2]. BIGGA has also developed an app that brings greenkeeper education and training into the hands of its members [11].
