The team of Toyo Maintenance headed by Tomo Nishizaka, CGCS, is installing Capillary Concrete all over Japan. With thousands of golf courses often maintained at a very high level in a very demanding climate, Capillary Concrete has proven the perfect way to ensure quality bunkers and economical solutions to golf clubs all over the country.

Tomo Nishizaka, CGCS was the first Certified Golf Course Superintendent in Japan and works together with many highly skilled professional turf managers in the Toyo Green and Toyo Maintenance organizations. His long career and experience on golf maintenance from all over the world has been very important in building the success of these companies and we are very proud to have them as our official Japanese Distributors. Tomo, to the right in picture below of two old Super`s, the first European CGCS and the first Japanese CGCS!

Below pictures from the installation at the North Shore CC in Ibaraki, Japan. You may not know this, but many Japanese golf courses feature TWO greens complexes on each hole! One with warm season grasses and one with cool season grass, mainly Agrostis. The course in the picture above is the Wakasu Golf Links in Tokyo, with downtown in background. This is a really stunning golf course built on a land fill and overlooking the Tokyo Bay. Great quality grass and a full tee sheet 365 days a year at about 250 USD per round…!
